Toni has been a Director and Mathematics Consultant at First4Maths since establishing the company in October 2011. Prior to this she taught across KS2 and was Mathematics Subject Leader and Assessment Lead within her school. Toni gained her NPQH and a Post Graduate Qualification in Gifted and Talented Education and used this work to support the development of training to ensure effective challenge for all children.
Toni is passionate about ensuring that teachers love teaching mathematics as this in turn will develop a love of mathematics for the children that they work with. She leads the team at First4Maths to ensure that the support they offer enables teachers to feel empowered to make decisions about the best way to teach their children.
Toni has supported a wide range of schools, from those that are in a vulnerable position to those that are looking to further enhance their outstanding practice. Within these different circumstances she has been able to provide support tailored to the needs of the school and have had a positive impact on standards and quality of delivery of mathematics.
